Our 62nd Annual Open Show this year again features a ‘Create a Lego Monster’ competition for youngsters. Building on last year’s success, we look forward to even more junior entries on Saturday 21st July at the Jubilee Hall, Little Shore Lane, Bishops Waltham, SO32 1ED this year. Despite the early Spring weather making growing conditions extremely difficult, things have almost returned to normal and later planted crops have caught up -proving that warmer soil, not early planting, usually does the trick! So, if you make it, bake it or grow it, then SHOW IT !
With over 100 classes, ranging from Lego, to Sugar Craft, Floral Art and Photography as well as the more usual Cakes, Jam and, of course, Fruit and Vegetables, there really does seem a class to suit most tastes, so pick up your brochure in Bishops Waltham from either ‘Newtown Newsmart’ Winchester Road or the Post Office in the High Street. Entry to all classes is free for BW Gardening Club members and all children, and it will cost just 20p per entry for non-members.
Parking at the Jubilee Hall is free, and refreshments will be available.
With entry to the Show at 2pm just £1 per adult- children free- our show benches should be full, to make for an afternoon of interest, fun and talking point
With Bring and buy plant sale.
