“Hot Beds” by Tom Maskell.
Hot beds are an environmentally friendly way of getting a head start on veg production. Instead of relying on electricity, a bed is made of manure, which rots down generating heat to provide the perfect environment for the early sowing of salad crops, starting brassicas, legumes etc. Come and learn how to make a hot bed and the results that can be achieved.
Non-members welcome. Free entry.
